Join University of San Diego's Copley Library for the Ten-Year Anniversary of the Digital Initiatives Symposium!

This two-day conference focuses on the digital elements of library ecosystems and features workshops and a variety of speakers. View the full program at: https://digital.sandiego.edu/symposium/2024/


  • $150 registration covers both the workshop and concurrent day (Monday, April 29) and full-day conference (Tuesday, April 30). Includes the Wine and Cheese Welcome Reception on Monday (4-5:30 pm) as well as continental breakfast and lunch on both Monday and Tuesday.
  • $100 registration covers the full-day conference (Tuesday, April 30, 2024) with keynote, featured, and invited speakers, as well as continental breakfast and catered lunch.
  • $65 registration covers the workshop and concurrent sessions on Monday, April 29, 2024. Includes continental breakfast, lunch, a choice of one workshop, concurrent presentations, and a Wine and Cheese Welcome Reception (4-5:30 pm).

Note: Eventbrite charges a small processing fee in addition to the cost of registration.

Scholarship Opportunities

  • If you are a librarian or archivist with fewer than 5 years of experience in the profession you may apply for complementary registration to the full symposium. The first five applicants will be awarded this scholarship. To apply email digital@sandiego.edu. (Note: If you are employed by a SCELC-member organization, please apply for a SCELC scholarship; see below.) UPDATE: These scholarships have now all been claimed.
  • If you are a librarian or archivist with 5-10 years of experience in the profession you may apply for complementary registration to the full symposium. The first five applicants will be awarded this scholarship. To apply email digital@sandiego.edu. (Note: If you are employed by a SCELC-member organization, please apply for a SCELC scholarship; see below.) UPDATE: These scholarships have now all been claimed.
  • SCELC (Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium) has generously funded fifteen complimentary registrations to the full symposium. If you are a librarian or archivist employed by a SCELC-member organization you may apply for complementary registration to the full symposium. The first fifteen applicants will be awarded this scholarship. To apply email digital@sandiego.edu.
